THERAPIST 1 & Therapist 2 - (Children & Adolescents)
Job Title: Therapist 1 & Therapist 2 - Children’s and Adolescents Clinician
Position Overview:
The Therapist 1 & Therapist 2 - Children’s and Adolescents Clinician will provide direct therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families, focusing on supporting and empowering them to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural awareness, humility, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to the practice’s philosophy. This role requires an individual who can build trust with young clients and their families, offering guidance and therapeutic support to foster emotional and mental wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, addressing mental health needs and promoting healthy development.
Maintain a caseload of 20 to 25 clients weekly.
Contribute to the growth of the practice by marketing yourself and assisting in building a sustainable client caseload.
Participate in NEW's internship program, offering mentorship and case support to at least one intern.
Provide leadership and instruction to volunteers and less experienced staff as needed.
Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure comprehensive and effective client care.
Adhere to the practice’s philosophy, demonstrating cultural competence and a commitment to client empowerment.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrates cultural awareness, humility, and sensitivity when working with children, adolescents, and families.
Holds a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Therapist 1: Actively working towards full licensure in the state of Tennessee.
Therapist 2: Holds a Tennessee license in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Experienced in providing therapy to children and adolescents, with a focus on family dynamics and development.
Self-motivated and responsible for maintaining and growing a client caseload.
Willingness to mentor interns and provide leadership to volunteers and less experienced staff.
Requirements:
A minimum of a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Therapist 1: Actively working towards full licensure in the state of Tennessee.
Therapist 2: Holds a Tennessee license in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience in therapy or counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.
Availability to maintain a caseload of 20 to 25 clients weekly minimum.
Strong commitment to mentorship and leadership roles within the practice.
