THERAPIST 1 & Therapist 2 - (men’s wellness/male)
Job Title: Therapist 1 & Therapist 2 - Men’s Wellness Clinician
Position Overview:
The Therapist 1 & Therapist 2 - Men’s Wellness Clinician will provide direct therapeutic services to male clients, focusing on supporting and empowering them to be their best selves. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural awareness, humility, sensitivity, and a deep commitment to the philosophy of the practice. The role requires an individual who can build strong therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering growth and healing.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy and other therapeutic services to male clients, addressing their mental health, personal growth, and well-being.
Maintain a caseload of 20 to 25 clients weekly minimum.
Contribute to the growth of the practice by marketing yourself and helping build a sustainable client caseload.
Participate in NEW's internship program, providing mentorship and case support to at least one intern.
Provide leadership and instruction to volunteers and less experienced staff when required.
Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure the highest level of client care.
Stay aligned with the practice’s philosophy and approach to therapy, demonstrating cultural competency and a commitment to client empowerment.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrates cultural awareness, humility, and sensitivity in working with diverse clients.
Holds a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Therapist 1: Actively working towards full licensure in the state of Tennessee.
Therapist 2: Holds a Tennessee license in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Self-motivated and responsible for maintaining and growing a client caseload.
Willingness to mentor and provide leadership to interns, volunteers, and less experienced staff.
Requirements:
A minimum of a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Therapist 1: Actively working towards full licensure in the state of Tennessee.
Therapist 2: Holds a Tennessee license in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Experience in therapy or counseling, with a focus on working with male clients a plus.
Availability to maintain a caseload of 20 to 25 clients weekly minimum.
Strong commitment to mentorship and leadership roles within the practice.
